Church Street has become the main area for independent shops, bars, various eateries and a farmers' market every Sunday. Just a short walk from Church Street is London's only all-organic farmer's market in front of St Paul's Church on the High Street. Held every Saturday, it's the perfect place to get to know the locals and stock up on delicious organic fare. Church Street actually boasts another park, too, this time on the western end of the Street. Clissold Park is much more groomed than Abney Park and features a lake and a deer enclosure. The locals are so proud of Stoke Newington, they've even set up their own magazine.They have restaurant and pub reviews and loads of info on upcoming events.
